Following yesterday’s primaries, there is a new record for all-woman general-election congressional contests, according to data from the Center for American Women and Politics, a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. As of today, there are 38 all-woman congressional contests set for November, eclipsing the previous record of 33, set in 2018. Primaries are yet to be held in 14 states, so this number may yet continue to climb.
