Election Day is one week away, and the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, shares election night resources for covering women candidates in the 2022 elections. CAWP will report real time results throughout election night on social media and will issue a release the day after Election Day with preliminary results for women candidates. With the expansion of mail-in voting, as well as potential challenges to results, we anticipate delays in reporting and will issue regular updates via media advisories as outcomes are determined.
