Election Watch 2024 begins now. With primaries for congressional, statewide, and state legislative elections beginning on Super Tuesday next week, the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP), a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University, shares CAWP resources for covering women in the 2024 elections.
- 2024 Summary of Women Candidates: This fact sheet provides all the numbers on women running for Congress, governor, statewide executive offices, and state legislatures with accompanying data visualizations. This page includes 2024 numbers compared to historical records and recent election cycles.
- 2024 Potential and Filed Women Candidates: This list of announced and potential women candidates for Congress, governor, and statewide executive offices will update throughout election 2024 as filing deadlines pass and will become the full, final list of all filed candidates for these offices in 2024.
